Terms and Conditions
Last updated: March 8, 2026
These Terms govern use of Browser Boxing as a realtime browser-based multiplayer boxing game. They are intended to cover both guest users and registered users, including live queueing, matchmaking, WebSocket connectivity, and authoritative match resolution.
1. Acceptance of Terms
These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern your access to and use of Browser Boxing, including the website, browser-based game, matchmaking systems, WebSocket services, and related features (collectively, the "Service").
By accessing or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, you must not use the Service.
2. Eligibility and Accounts
You may use Browser Boxing either as a guest or through a registered account, where available. You are responsible for any activity that occurs through your account or session.
- You must provide accurate and current information when creating an account.
- You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and device access.
- You may not impersonate another person, claim a username you are not entitled to use, or use the Service in a way that is misleading or fraudulent.
- We may suspend, restrict, or terminate guest access or registered accounts that violate these Terms or create risk for the Service or other players.
3. License to Use the Service
Subject to your compliance with these Terms, Browser Boxing grants you a limited, revocable, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to access and use the Service for personal, non-commercial entertainment purposes.
No ownership rights are transferred to you. Browser Boxing and its licensors retain all rights, title, and interest in and to the Service.
4. Multiplayer, Matchmaking, and Realtime Play
Browser Boxing is a live multiplayer game. Matchmaking, queue position, player presence, and match synchronization depend on realtime systems, including persistent WebSocket connections and server-side simulation.
The Service uses an authoritative server model. Match state, event resolution, and outcomes are determined by Browser Boxing's servers, not solely by the client running in your browser. Server records control in the event of desync, lag, duplicate input, suspected abuse, disconnects, or disputes about a match outcome.
- Queue access, matchmaking, reconnection windows, disconnect forfeits, and gameplay locks may be enforced automatically.
- We may reject, throttle, or ignore malformed, stale, excessive, duplicate, or abusive gameplay messages.
- We do not guarantee uninterrupted availability of live matches, queue placement, or successful reconnection after network issues.
5. Acceptable Use
You agree not to misuse the Service or assist others in doing so.
- Do not cheat, exploit bugs, use bots, automate gameplay, or interfere with the fairness or integrity of matches.
- Do not attempt to reverse engineer, probe, overload, disrupt, or bypass security or rate limits on the Service.
- Do not use the Service to transmit unlawful, harmful, threatening, defamatory, infringing, or otherwise objectionable material.
- Do not access another user's account, credentials, or session without authorization.
- Do not use the Service in violation of applicable law or regulation.
6. Usernames, Display Names, and Conduct
Usernames and display names must not be unlawful, deceptive, hateful, obscene, harassing, infringing, or otherwise inappropriate. We may remove, reset, or require changes to names that violate these Terms or create legal or operational risk.
7. Availability and Changes
We may modify, suspend, discontinue, or limit any part of the Service at any time, with or without notice. Features may be added, removed, rebalanced, reset, or changed for gameplay, technical, business, or legal reasons.
We are not liable for any loss resulting from downtime, maintenance, technical failure, balancing changes, or feature removal.
8. Intellectual Property
The Service, including its code, design, visuals, branding, text, gameplay systems, software, and all related intellectual property, is owned by Browser Boxing or its licensors and is protected by applicable law.
You may not copy, reproduce, distribute, publicly display, create derivative works from, sell, license, or exploit the Service except as expressly permitted in writing.
9. User Content and Feedback
If you submit ideas, suggestions, feedback, or other content to us, you grant Browser Boxing a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to use that submission for operating, improving, and promoting the Service, subject to applicable law.
You represent that you have the rights needed to submit content and that your submission does not violate any law or third-party right.
10. Termination
You may stop using the Service at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access, delete or disable accounts or guest sessions, and remove related content or identifiers if we believe you violated these Terms, created risk, or if we discontinue the Service.
Sections that by their nature should survive termination, including ownership, disclaimers, limitation of liability, indemnity, and dispute-related provisions, will survive termination.
11. Disclaimers
The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, whether express, implied, or statutory, including implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, title, non-infringement, availability, accuracy, or uninterrupted operation.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Browser Boxing does not warrant that the Service will be error-free, secure, continuously available, or free from harmful components.
12. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Browser Boxing and its owners, operators, affiliates, licensors, service providers, and personnel will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for any loss of data, profits, goodwill, business opportunity, or service availability arising out of or related to the Service.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, the total liability of Browser Boxing for any claim arising out of or relating to the Service will not exceed the greater of one hundred U.S. dollars (USD $100) or the amount you paid us, if any, in the twelve months before the event giving rise to the claim.
13. Indemnity
You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless Browser Boxing and its owners, operators, affiliates, licensors, service providers, and personnel from and against claims, liabilities, damages, judgments, losses, and expenses, including reasonable attorneys' fees, arising out of or related to your misuse of the Service, your violation of these Terms, or your violation of any law or third-party right.
14. Governing Law
These Terms will be governed by the laws applicable in the jurisdiction where the Service operator is established, without regard to conflict of law principles, except where mandatory law provides otherwise.
15. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we may revise the date at the top of this page and apply the updated Terms to future use of the Service. Your continued use of the Service after updated Terms become effective constitutes acceptance of those updated Terms.
16. Contact
Questions about these Terms should be sent through the contact method provided on the Service or the official Browser Boxing website.
